We are currently recruiting for the following position:
RADIATION THERAPISTS
We are keen to hear from radiation therapists who would like to join our dynamic team at the Kathleen Kilgour Centre. The primary purpose of the roles is to supplement our existing radiation therapist treatment team in delivering high quality radiation therapy services. You must be flexible and be able to work both early and late rosters.
The Kathleen Kilgour Centre is a privately owned Radiation Oncology Centre situated on the Tauranga Hospital campus. We provide contemporary radiation oncology services to patients in the Bay of Plenty region and beyond.
Our Centre has two Versa HD linear accelerators, Monaco 5.11 treatment planning system, MOSAIQ 2.6 and a microselectron HDR unit. We also have a dedicated Toshiba wide bore CT scanner.
Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty New Zealand is famous for its excellent climate, outstanding natural beauty and renowned surf beaches, lakes and parks. It boasts a relaxed outdoor lifestyle and is only a 2.5 hour drive to the vibrancy of cosmopolitan Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city.
Essential Qualities:
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB)
- A current MRTB issued practicing certificate in the radiation therapy scope of practice
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment to provide a high standard of patient care
- Demonstrated self-motivation with initiative and ability to cope with dynamic work practices.
