The Kathleen Kilgour Centre has a close relationship with the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Cancer Society which offers:

Information about cancer and cancer treatment
Support groups
Look Good Feel Better programme
Counselling grants
Support programmes such as "Living Well" and excercise programmes
Therapeutic massage
Library
Access to Cancer Society liaison nurses who can provide
- Home-based support for family/whanau
- assessment and support to manage the side effects of treatment
- a link to other health care professionals and community services
- advocacy to help resolve any difficulties or anxieties about treatment
